PAGMETER WEEK 6 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JULIAN FERNANDEZ-CORCORAN PANTHERS

Meet the most dangerous Tight End in the Central Section and maybe the state. Julian is 6’6, 255 lbs with great hands, good feet and good speed for a big guy. Wherever Julian lines up, he is double or triple teamed on every play. Julian caught 5 passes for 237 yards including a 71 yard TD pass from QB Tony Alvarez, blocked 3 passes playing the D-line in the big win over Woodlake.
Julian gets it done in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA, also an outstanding blocking TE, great kid who puts his team first, works extremely hard, never comes off the field and is also a very good basketball player. Schools like Sacramento State are very interested.
FOOTBALL NEWS WEEK 7
SUNNYSIDE WILDCATS FORFEIT AT LEAST 4 GAMES:
Madera South Stallions, Reedley Pirates, Ridgeview Wolf Pack and McLane Highlanders will get forfeit wins because Sunnyside played a player in the JV game and also the Varsity game on the same night. That’s a no-no and every coach in California knows that.
You might not like the rule, but it’s the rule.
Madera South player knew the Wildcats player playing in both games and the rest is history.
What’s crazy is the Sunnyside coaches simply lied to their AD and said it was an oversight and a one time blunder. WRONG! The Coaches simply lied to their AD.
The outlaw renegade Coaches who haven’t been fired yet got caught in a lie because this was not a one time blunder. This was a deliberate cover up because it happened in every game played. Sunnyside changed the number of the JV player (No 7) and gave the small freshman (No 23) another number in the varsity game and put another Number (88) on MaxPreps. That, my friends, is called a cover up.
The only reason why Madera, who played Sunnyside in week 1, hasn’t got a win yet is because Madera hasn’t looked at the game film.
Can you imagine if a player played in a JV game and then played in the varsity game and got hurt with a big-time injury. What kind of lawsuit would it be for the FUSD and Sunnyside!
We already know Sunnyside has cheated with stats on MaxPreps for the last four years and have yet to apologize for it so you know they will not apologize for playing a player in two games in one night all season. They already tried with the bullshit answer of “it was an oversight”
Forfeit wins/loses will not change your place on the computer ratings. Sunnyside might be 1-4 or 0-5 because the Coaches cheated, but the computer still thinks Sunnyside is 5-0.
Sunnyside still needs to win 3 of the last 5 games to qualify.
It has to be this way because some teams will pull a Sunnyside and try to forfeit games on purpose to move down.
Here’s what should happen, Sunnyside should be 0-5, and lose all home games in the division 2 playoffs.
Sunnyside administrations should fire these pathological liars but they won’t. Look for a big change next year at Sunnyside.
Sunnyside Football has zero integrity and the Sunnyside administration/AD has let this bullshit go on for 4 years so what kind of integrity does Sunnyside High School have!
THE 30-DAY TRANSFER RULES IS NOW OVER. SOME TEAMS MIGHT BE BETTER BECAUSE OF IT THE REST OF THE WAY…
THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL FINAL SCORES

The Monarchs lost a defensive battle to Porterville 10-6.
The G Bears beat Carauthers 40-21.
PAGMETER X FACTOR The Golden Bears offense will need a big night to stay with the Monarchs defense.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS FINALS
CMAC
BULLARD KNIGHTS (3-3) at SANGER APACHES (4-2)
PAGMETER X FACTOR This was always a tough physical battle when these two teams got it on. The Knights are not a physical team any longer and more of a 7vs7 team playing in full gear.
The Apaches have had this one circled since July because Bullard tried to recruit some Sanger players. Teams never forget things like that. Bullard will have plenty of new Knights ready to play now after sitting out because of the 30 day rule but no players from Sanger. Rumor has it there could be 10 plus new Knights suiting up. Bullard football will never be the same again.
The Apaches are the heavy favorites to win the CMAC and will be too physical for the Knights.
PAGMETER PREDICTION APACHES 44 KNIGHTS 20
FINAL APACHES 39 KNIGHTS 20
EDISON TIGERS (0-6) at MADERA COYOTES (5-1)
PAGMETER X FACTOR Can the Tigers slow down the high flying Coyotes offense that is averaging 45 points per game. The Tigers are giving up 53 points per game.
Just like Bullard Football, Edison football will never be the same again.
PAGMETER PREDICTION COYOTES 50 TIGERS 23
FINAL COYOTES 59 TIGERS 20
GARZA GUARDIANS (3-3) at MEMORIAL PANTHERS (4-2)
PAGMETER X FACTOR The Guardians come in with a 3 game winning streak and what a great story because the Guardians were left for dead after all the suspensions in the big fight vs Central.
Stepping up at QB when senior QB Caleb Matthews went out with an injury is junior Bohden Smith who is an outstanding athlete and the Guardians have won 3 straight with their junior QB. Bohden is a very good speedy outfielder for baseball Coach Chad Rothford and he gives the Guardians a threat who can attack the line of scrimmage with his running. The Guardians offense has always been a dink and dunk softer offense, but now it’s much more physical. The Panthers need a big night on both sides of the ball to win at home.
PAGMETER PREDICTION GUARDIANS 33 PANTHERS 17
FINAL PANTHERS 26 GUARDIANS 20
EAST SEQUOIA
LINDSAY CARDINALS (4-2) (3-1) at CORCORAN PANTHERS (3-3) (2-1)

PAGMETER X FACTOR Can the Cardinals slow down 6’6 senior WR Julian Fernandez? The Cardinals might match up with their big guy Jose Fernandez (no relation) who is 6’2 215 lbs on Julian because nobody else can handle the big guy.
PAGMETER PREDICTION PANTHERS 34 CARDINALS 31
FINAL CARDINALS 28 PANTHERS 24
FARMERSVILLE AZTECS (1-5) (0-3) at GRANITE HILLS GRIZZLIES (4-2) (1-2)

PAGMETER PREDICTION TIGERS 27 TITANS 21
FINAL TIGERS 55 TITANS 7
OROSI CARDINALS (1-5) (1-2) at STRATHMORE SPARTANS (5-1) (3-0)

Leading the Rangers is Jimmie Burk and the Rangers will need to pound the ball with Burk.
Leading the Panthers is Junior QB Ethan Enriquez, WRs Izaya Welsh, Jonathan Ruiz and RB Mark Salinas.
PAGMETER PREDICTION PANTHERS 26 RANGERS 20
FINAL RANGERS 44 PANTHERS 34

Junior QB Emory Dondero threw 2 TDs each to Levi Derr and Talavera.
PAGMETER X FACTOR This game is for the HDL championship and the Broncos have owned the HDL for so long. For the Cats to pull the huge upset, the Cats must control the line of scrimmage. The Broncos have played the toughest non league schedule they have played maybe ever and it’s going to make the Broncos tough to beat the rest of the way.

PAGMETER PREDICTION HIGHLANDERS 47 TOROS 13
FINAL HIGHLANDERS 25 TORRES 7
ROOSEVELT ROUGH RIDERS (4-2) at SUNNYSIDE WILDCATS (2-4)
The Riders beat Torres 48-10. Freshman RB Ehis Idoni rushed for 185 yards and scored 2 TDs.
The Wildcats will forfeit the game to Madera South.
Wildcats were caught playing a freshman player that played in the JV and again in the varsity game and that is against the rules. The Coaches said that this was a one time mistake and oversight to the Sunnyside AD and the AD apparently believed it.That was a lie because the Wildcats have played the JV player in the varsity game on the same night in all 5 games.
PAGMETER X FACTOR Can the Riders slow down the Wildcats offense. The Wildcats favorite offensive play is throwing the ball up tp CJ Jones and letting him out jump everybody. CJ is so dangerous. Because the Sunnyside coaches are not very good, look for the players to come out fired up with everything going on. Riders have to keep it close or the Cats will blow out the Riders.

CLOVIS NORTH BRONCOS (4-2) at CENTRAL GRIZZLIES (5-1)
PAGMETER X FACTOR This is the first BIG TRAC game. Something to think about with the top 4 teams, of Clovis East, Central, Clovis and Clovis North. Yes they will all play each other in the TRAC league play, but most will play again in the playoffs which will really mean so much more.
The Broncos come in with the top running back in the Central Section with senior McKay Madsen who is averaging 10 yards a carry. Look for McKay to get plenty of more carries in this game.
Can the Broncos complete some big passes when needed with WR Tyree Sams and/or TE Ramzee “Ram Man” Ham. Madsen will get his big runs in but the Grizzlies will be tough to throw against. The Broncos are a very physical football team and they must dominate the line of scrimmage to win.
The Grizzlies also come in with the possible best back in the Central Section with junior Brandon Smith. Brando is so good and getting better and better with every quarter he plays in.

Grizzlies sophomore QB Jelani Dippel has thrown 17 TD passes and gets better with every game he plays in. The Grizzlies receivers are dangerous with senior Daylon Scott, junior Bayon Harris and sophomore Ej Morgan.
The Grizzlies have the big edge playing at home along the Grizzlies defense.

FINAL BRONCOS 26 GRIZZLIES 21
CLOVIS WEST GOLDEN EAGLES (3-3) vs CLOVIS EAST T WOLVES (6-0)
PAGMETER X FACTOR Can the Golden Eagles slow down the outstanding up tempo T Wolves offense.
The Golden Eagles have a couple of outstanding WRs with seniors Jonavon “JD” Darrington and Michael Espinoza. The Golden Eagles QB is freshman JJ Howard who has thrown 10 TD passes. The Golden Eagles have to be able to run the ball or the T Wolves will run them out of Tim Simons Field.

TULARE UNION TRIBE (6-0) at LEMOORE TIGERS (3-3)
The Tribe beat Bakersfield Christian 28-14. The Tribe played without All Star junior QB Dylan Crisp. No problem because sophomore Demaje Riley stepped up at QB and rushed for 181 yards and scored 2 TDs. Dominic Wilson rushed for 109 yards and scored 2 TDs.
PAGMETER X FACTOR Can the Tigers defense slow down the speedy Tribe.
The Tigers have played a very tough schedule with a young team.

NON-LEAGUE
HANFORD WEST HUSKIES (0-6) at REEDLEY PIRATES (3-3)
The Huskies had a bye.
The Pirates lost a tough game 14-7 to Mt Whitney. The defense played a very good game. Freshman Ej Andres rushed for 148 yards and scored the Pirates TD.
PAGMETER X FACTOR The Huskies are in the middle of a shit show with a weak administration not supporting the football program. First year Head Coach Nico Herron was let go for doing his job. SMH. Rashard Hayes takes over as head coach.
The Pirates are still looking for leaders to take over the team. The Pirates will get a forfeit win because Sunnyside played a player in the JV game and in the varsity game on the same night and that’s a no-no. The Pirates will be playing in the tough Tri-County Kings Canyon league and will need one more win to qualify for the post-season tournament.

8 MAN FOOTBALL FINAL
STUART HALL KNIGHTS (4-0) at FRESNO CHRISTIAN EAGLES (3-3)
The Knights beat Anzar 74-6.
The Eagles lost to Cate 33-30. Tycen Ramirez threw for 309 yards and 4 TDs. Bryce Smith caught 7 passes for 114 yards and a TD. Alex Asatrian caught 5 passes and scored 2 TDs. Joshua Kubota caught a TD pass.
PAGMETER X FACTOR The Knights from San Francisco average scoring 70 points per game. Let that sink in. 70 points per game. I will bet some of the teams are half blind or in wheelchairs but 70 points is very impressive. Knights senior QB Rhett Sypult is very good.
The Eagles top player Joshua Kubota who was on pace for another 1000 yards receiving season, dislocated his hip and is out and if the Eagles pull this game out then look for the Eagles to battle Mammoth for the Central Section Championship of 8 man football.
