The Tribe were struggling and very smart to play the youth. I’m not saying any young players would transfer out for not playing but in the world we live in, you just never know. Who can win the line of scrimmage? A couple of big X factors, can the G Hawks slow down the Rams running game? Can the Rams slow down outstanding junior QB Adam Copus?
The Rams need one more win to qualify for the playoff/tournament and the G Hawks would be a much better fit if they played in the division 2 playoff/tournament.

THE PAG FACTOR: The Broncos had the right idea in playing Clovis West but mistakes killed them in losing 21-14. The Broncos pounded the ball and put up a good pass rush but a late turnover cost them.
The Bears in almost every game hang around for a half, and in the 2nd half the Bears turn it on. Senior QB Jayden Mandal came into the season as the best QB in the Central Section, and is proving it with a 115 QB rating going 134-199, for 2,007 yards and 14 TD passes.
The Bears would love another chance to play Clovis West in losing on a Hail Mary pass and of course I will bet that the Bears have watched that play 1000 times and still can’t believe the Bears called a cover zero which means man-man defense and no deep centerfield-safety with 30 seconds to go. SMH.

The Broncos have to have the same game plan this week with a physical running game and play good defense without mistakes. A star is born for the Bears with freshmen safety Austin Finnegan. This kid is going to be good!

The Grizzlies come in playing their best game crushing Clovis East 56-13. Michael James scored on a 5 and 28 yard runs. Dayton Tafoya threw 3 TD passes, (Noel Felix III 39 yards, Braylen Hall 11 yards and LaDanian Streets 6 yards) Caleb Shelton with a 45 yard pick-6
David Bell scored on an 89 yard run and Imari Conley scored on a 54 yard TD run.
The Grizzlies always play better on the home turf and if the Grizzlies have found the magic again then they will win.

The Pirates beat Sierra Pacific 42-20 Logan Moreno had a breakout game rushing for 318 yards and scored 5 TDs.
For the Pirates this is great that they are playing the Vikings to get them ready for the playoffs.
