**Here is the wildest and dumbest story of the week.
Boys basketball playoffs Wednesday night June 2
The 10 seed Sierra Pacific Golden Bears taking on the No 7 seed Yosemite Badgers up in Oakhurst.
Sierra Pacific is in Hanford so that is a nice journey on a school bus up highway 41.
Both teams warming before the game with the layup drill.
Here’s the wild part that…..are you ready!!
A nurse runs out during warm ups and says one of the players on the Yosemite Badgers basketball team tested positive and has zero symptoms for covid (Why are some schools still testing?)
Game off, season over for Yosemite,
I can’t tell you how mad I am and I feel really bad for the seniors and it shouldn’t end this way because of a backwards thinking administration to make a call like this. 100% chance the player will test negative tomorrow because these test are simply stupid.
The Yosemite administration made a huge blunder and if I had a kid in the school district I would be at the next school board meeting.
Something needs to change up the hill in a hurry.
Shame on you Yosemite unified school district!

PAG METER DIVISION 4 BASKETBALL FINAL RANKINGS
1 Kingsburg Vikings (12-4) (2-0 CSL) BACK TO BACK DIVISION 4 CHAMPIONS & DIVISION 5-A STATE CHAMPIONS
The Vikings have played a killer schedule so far with Clovis North, Clovis East, Clovis West and Bullard. The Vikings have 3 returning starters (Nate Towsley, Jose Martinez, and Colby Charles) and junior Matthew Ruegge has made huge strides offensively this offseason (scored 29 against Clovis North) as well as senior Josh Bennett (rounding out the starting lineup). Sophomore Conner McFall is an integral glue guy for us and a huge part of our core.
