PAGMETER TOP 30 BOYS BASKETBALL FINAL 2021 RANKINGS
No 1 St Joseph Knights (27-3) (10-0 MOUNTAIN CHAMPIONS) CENTRAL SECTION CHAMPIONS
The Knights are the Central Section Champions. Sam Bazunga, with 19 points & 11 rebounds in the Central Section Championship game. Sam is the leader in the club house for PAGMETER Player of the year.
No 2 Memorial Panthers (22-3) (10-0 CMAC CHAMPIONS)
The Panthers lost to St Joseph in the Central Section Championship. Leading the way Mike Davis Jr. with 16 points. James Prescott, 14 points. Jaden Geron, 13 points, JoJo Hunter with 11 points.
No 3 Clovis West Golden Eagles (20-5) (10-0 TRAC CHAMPIONS)
Cole Anderson leaves as the Clovis West all-time leading scorer, the Central Section all-time leading 3-point shooter with almost 400 made and the first player in TRAC history to be the TRAC MVP in 4 straight years.
No 4 Clovis North Broncos (18-6) (8-2 TRAC)
AK Okereke who is the Clovis North Male Athlete of the Year will go down as one of the best to ever play at Clovis North.
No 5 Bullard Knights (15-9) (7-3 CMAC) DIVISION 1 SECTION CHAMPIONS
The Knights are the Division 1 Section Champions, the 4th straight Section Championship Game appearance and 6th in the last 8 years.
No 6 Central Grizzlies (12-7) (5-5 TRAC)
The Grizzlies lost to a tough one in the Division 1 section Championship game to Bullard 85-83. LaDanian Streets scored 27 points and Cedric Coward scored 20 points.
7 Bakersfield Christian Eagles (19-12) (0-0 SSL) DIVISION 3 BACK-TO-BACK SECTION CHAMPIONS
The Eagles will host Valley Christian in the Quarterfinals of the Division 3-AA Southern section state playoffs. The Eagles are the Back-to-Back Division 3 Section Champions.
8 Nipomo Titans (14-5) (6-3 MOUNTAIN)
The Titans will host Shalhevet in the Quarterfinals of the Division 3-A Southern section state playoffs. The Titans lost a tough one in the Division 3 Section Championship game to BC 56-55.
9 Hoover Patriots (17-7) (10-0 NYL CHAMPIONS)
The Patriots lost a tough game at the horn to Nipomo in the semifinals in the Division 3 playoffs.
10 Kingsburg Vikings (12-4) (2-0 CSL) BACK TO BACK DIVISION 4 CHAMPIONS & DIVISION 5-A STATE CHAMPIONS
The Division 4 Back-to-Back Section champions & Division 5-A State Champions. Leading the Vikings was senior Nate Towsley,
11 Roosevelt Rough Riders (16-5) (8-2 NYL) DIVISION 2 SECTION CHAMPIONS
The Rough Riders are the Division 2 Section Champions.
12 Fowler Redcats (18-1) (12-0 WSL CHAMPIONS) DIVISION 5 SECTION CHAMPIONS & DIVISION 6-AA STATE CHAMPIONS
The Redcats win their first section championship since 1916.
No 13 Arroyo Grande Eagles (11-5) (7-3 MOUNTAIN)
The Eagles were a tough team to beat.
No 14 Liberty Patriots (8-2) (0-0 SWYL)
The Patriots had to forfeit the first round of the playoffs because of the silly testing of the Covid. Why were they still testing? Simply stupid.
15 Atascadero Greyhounds (17-6) (10-1 OCEAN CHAMPIONS)
The Greyhounds got to the semifinals in the 5-AA Southern Section state playoffs.
16 Sanger Apaches (10-9) (6-4 CMAC)
Leading the Apaches were the brother combination of senior Luke Dillon (15.4 points per game with 7 rebounds) and junior Jon Dillon (22.7 per game with 7 rebounds)
17 Independence Falcons (5-3) (3-0 SYL)
The Falcons just like Liberty had to forfeit the first round of the playoffs because of the silly testing of the Covid.
18 Paso Robles Bearcats (12-5) (8-4 OCEAN)
The Cats had a good year and lost in division 2 section playoffs.
19 Porterville Panthers (10-4) (8-0 EYL CHAMPIONS)
The Panthers are the East Yosemite League Champions.
20 Centennial Golden Hawks (5-2) (0-0 SWYL)
The G-Hawks were good, just did not play enough games.
21 Hanford Bullpups (11-3) (1-1 WYL)
Leading the Bullpups was senior Mark Bradford
22 Lemoore Tigers (7-5) (1-1 WYL)
Almost everybody comes back in 2021-2022 including junior Beunju Moon.
23 Edison Tigers (7-9) (5-5 CMAC)
Very streaky team
No 24 Clovis East T Wolves (7-10) (4-6 TRAC)
Leading the T Wolves was Trevor Vertiz who earned the Lifetime CSF and Principal’s Medallion. Next stop will be at the University of Saint Katherine.
No 25 Buchanan Bears (4-10) (2-8 TRAC)
The Bears are young and leading the way was sophomore Arman Rai.
No 26 Mission Prep Royals (6-11) (3-7 MOUNTAIN)
The Royals are young and keep an eye on Freshman 6’4 Luke Jacobson who is very good.
27 Washington Union Panthers (11-7) (8-2 CO-NSL CHAMPIONS)
The Panthers will travel to Marshall in the Quarterfinals of Southern Section Division 5-A state playoffs.
28 Sierra Chieftains (16-4) (8-2 CO-NSL CHAMPIONS)
The Chieftains will travel to Bell in the Southern Section Division 6-AA state Playoffs.
29 Righetti High Warriors (5-8) (3-7 MOUNTAIN)
Almost everybody comes back in 2021-2022 including juniors Jonathan Trigueros, Angel Durazo and sophomore Damian Simon.
30 Pioneers Valley Panthers (9-8) (8-4 OCEAN)
The Panthers will be very good in 2021-2022
30 Liberty Ranchos Hawks (12-4) (7-3 NSL)
Junior Carson Stephens (21 PPG) will lead the Hawks in 2021-2022.
30 Mira Monte Lions (5-5) (2-1 SEYL)
Plenty of Lions return in 2021-2022
