PAG METER DIVISION 1 FINAL RANKINGS

No 1 Central Grizzles (25-8) (6-4 TRAC)  VALLEY CHAMPIONS!                                     Won the Morro Bay Tournament. Leading the way are seniors Cam’ron Wilson, Cash Williams, Devin Ghelardo and junior Jahmai Bartley.

No 2 Bullard Knights (22-10) (7-3 CMAC) The Knights return plenty from last year with Teiquan Rush and Andrew Parker. The Knights can beat anybody in the valley and lose to anybody in the valley.

No 3 Sunnyside (20-12) (10-0 NYL CHAMPIONS) 6’10 Amari Stroud is the biggest guard/forward around who loves to shoot the 3’s and play point guard.

No 4 Bakersfield Drillers (21-8) (9-1 SWYL CHAMPIONS) Winner of the Lloyd Williams/KSFCU Shootout. The Drillers come in with another fast team and leading the way is one of the best players in the valley with 6’6 Ronnie Stapp along with R.J. Banks,Tahj Wright and Gabriel Esquivel.

No 5 Clovis West Golden Eagles (26-4) (9-1 TRAC CHAMPIONS)  Winner of the Rocklin and Clovis West Nike Tournament. The Golden Eagles are deep and will lead with seniors Josiah De La Cerda, Germaun Nutt, Eseosa Ogbeide, Fernando Guardado, and Brandon Recek. Super freshman Cole Anderson already with 3 offers (Fresno State, USF and San Diego State) plays like a senior. Dante Chachere and Nick Coleman come off the football field and are good.

No 6 Liberty Patriots (23-5) (8-2 SWYL) The Patriots bring back a very good shooting team with Isaiah Hill, Kadar Waller who is one of the top point guards around and big Javier Gallardo will be very good inside for the Patriots. (Transfer from Chavez). The Patriots could be the sleeper team.

No 7 Edison Tigers (22-9) (7-3 CMAC) The Tigers are always dangerous. Teyjohn Herrington, Asrin Hacket and James Hannah must lead this team with some young players. You better bring your A game when you play the Tigers. The Tigers lost 2 games in the Clovis West Nike Tournament at the Horn!!

No 8 Clovis North Broncos (15-14) (5-5 TRAC) The Broncos are young and will only get better with junior Stephen Perry and 6’6 sophomore Terri Miller.

No 9 Buchanan Bears (15-15) (6-4 TRAC)  The Bears are one of the tallest teams in the valley with 6’9 senior Spencer Heimerdinger and 6’5 junior Jonah Crumpton-Murray. Keep an eye on sophomore point guard Charlie Barnes. The Bears are a very streaky team. When they play hard, they are good.

No 10 Clovis East (11-16) (2-8 TRAC) Always one of the best coached teams in the valley

No 11 Centennial Golden Hawks (20-9) (6-4 SWYL)  Could be the sleeper if they play defense with seniors Will Alexander, Justin Greiner and Christian Portis.

No 12 Ridgeview Wolf Pack (15-13) (9-1 SYL CHAMPIONS) The Wolf Pack last year had the best team on the Pag Meter and is now in Division 1. Leading the way will be seniors L.J. Zeigler, Rohan Burch, Harold Hartdige, Shawn Gementera and Nick Edwards.

No 13 Stockdale (13-13) (5-5 SWYL) If the Mustangs 3 point shooting is on…watch out with Bryce Jackson, Lawrence Duru, Shaan Braich and Alejandro Murillo.

No 14 Clovis (14-14) (2-8 TRAC) Cory Fischer is the new head coach. Leading the way are seniors Anthony Martinez and Caleb Malalis.
