The Apaches beat Clovis 33-22. Carlos Young picked off 2 passes including a 94-yard pick-6. The Apaches beat the Cougars for the first time since 2007 and the Apaches have decided to stop the series vs the Cougars. Senior Isaiah Robles scored on 2 rushing TDs (10 and 8 yards) Connor Bohklen scored on a 3-yard TD run, QB Jaden Chanthalangsy threw a 17-yard TD pass to Jacob Niemeyer.

Throwing a football with 9 stitches in your throwing hand won’t be easy. The Panthers don’t have a backup QB so it could be plenty of Wildcat offense with WR/DB senior Jordan Colbert. Wide Receiver CJ Jones who transferred in from Sunnyside was denied his transfer and must sit out this year. Stay tuned on where he will play next year.
