PAGMETER FOOTBALL WEEK 7 PREDICTIONS 2022
WELCOME TO WEEK 7 PAGMETER PREDICTIONS
With the 30-day transfer rule, grades are clear for players who will be eligible. Some teams just got BETTER!
YOU HAVE ENTERED THE PAGMETER ZONE
Some teams love what I do with the PAGMETER Predictions (Thank you) and some get very offended that I didn’t predict your team to win. (Sorry about that)
The PAGMETER Prediction page is not for the weak at heart. Some can handle it and some can’t. If you can’t handle it, then stop right now and go to another site.
Hopefully to teams that I didn’t pick to win, get fired up & come out and prove the PAGMETER wrong. We love to be chalkboard material.
Week 6 was the worst week for PAGMETER Predictions in 12 years. Some of it was injuries, the 30 day transfer rule, some had breakout games, and some simply missed on picks.
It happens and this year is so far one of the toughest years to pick because many teams are so even.
Let’s keep having fun with the PAGMETER PREDICTIONS and if I really blow it, send me a XL team shirt and I will wear it on the show and post the photo.
Last year I blew the West Vikings picks so many times and they sent me in a fantastic Vikings shirt
In week 6, the PAGMETER went 30-11 and for the year 261-74 (84%)

The Wildcats beat Roosevelt 16-7. Tanner Wilson threw 2 TD passes each to Malachi Barnes and Sonjay Burton.
The Patriots lost to Fresno High 14-12.
The PAG Factor, with the Wildcats playing in the NYL, they will play bored like it’s 7v7 and playing bored is great for stats but bad for a championship run. NAILED IT

LIBERTY PATRIOTS (4-2) at GARCES RAMS (1-5)
PAGMETER LINE PATRIOTS -12
Both teams come off losses to state powerhouse teams.
The Patriots lost to Carlsbad who is loaded with plenty of new 30-day transfers and a 5 star QB.
The Rams lost to San Diego-Lincoln who has one of the top RBs in the state.
The PAG Factor, can the Rams run the ball and work the clock? The Patriots are tough to run against. The Rams have played a killer schedule and have to open with Liberty. Not fun!
The Patriots are not used to losing and rotating QBs is not helping the team morale. Will the Patriots come in pissed off after losing to Carlsbad and take care of business or will the Patriots have a Carlsbad hangover and not take care of business?
PAGMETER PREDICTION PATRIOTS 31 RAMS 14
FINAL PATRIOTS 13 RAMS 0
PATES DEFENSE STEPPED UP. JALEN HANKINS scored on a 48 yard TD run. COLE O’BRIEN hit XANDER CHISOLM on a 61 yard TD pass
CENTRAL GRIZZLIES (3-3) at CLOVIS COUGARS (4-2)
PAGMETER LINE GRIZZLIES -21
Both teams come off byes.
The PAG Factor, the Grizzlies love to go for the early knockout and get up big early. If senior QB Dayton Tafoya is on the Grizzlies will roll. The Cougars have to play a clean game and try to be physical upfront. Cougars freshman QB Deagan Rose is starting to gain confidence and getting better and better with every game he plays. Rose is already one of the best play-action pass QBs in the Central Section. The play-action pass apparently isn’t taught like it used to be. For you young QBs, you can learn from watching DR! Can the Cougars match up with the Grizzlies speed? The Cougars are a year away from being very good again.
PAGMETER PREDICTION GRIZZLIES 35 COUGARS 14
FINAL GRIZZLIES 27 COUGARS 21
The Grizzlies hang on for a big TRAC win. The Cougars were held out of the endzone on a Grizzlies goal line stand and the Grizzlies had 12 players and apparently the officials missed it.

PAGMETER PREDICTION KNIGHTS 34 COYOTES 13
FINAL KNIGHTS 35 COYOTES 14
MEMORIAL PANTHERS (4-2) (1-0) vs EDISON TIGERS (3-3) (0-1)
The Cat Bowl

PAG Factor, the Tigers are the tweener team, they will beat the teams below them and will have no answers for the teams above them and the Panthers are way above the Tigers. Playing in the CMAC is a great time for the Panthers to work on things like for the offense to be balanced. If the Panthers want to win the big boy division 1, they have to be balanced with the run/pass.
PAGMETER PREDICTION PANTHERS 45 TIGERS 7
FINAL PANTHERS 42 TIGERS 20
SANGER APACHES (2-4) (1-0) vs GARZA GUARDIANS (3-3) (0-1)

The big X factor can the Guardians front-seven match up with the Apaches running game? The Apaches have played the much tougher schedule.
PAGMETER APACHES 35 GUARDIANS 20

The PAG Factor, will the Panthers be in division 4 or division 5? The Panthers should be in division 5 but with these silly playoffs, stay tuned. Panthers Nation is upset that the PAGMETER predicted Woodlake in week 6 and that was a blunder. The Panthers have one big game left on the schedule and that is against Strathmore for the League Championship.

The Redcats offense needs a career night from the outstanding Redcats O-line, freshman QB Jerod Bubba Smith, WR Nick Mendoza and the RBs with Hector Hernandez & Johnny Mendez. The PAG Factor, both teams are playing tremendous football coming in. For the Panthers to pull the upset, the defense has to play lights out for the 3rd straight game. The downfall that will crush the Panther either on Friday or by the end of the year is rotating QBs. Rotating QBs has never worked in 100 years of football.

The Pirates lost to Mt Whitney Pioneers 20-13. This was a very good loss for the Pirates. With these silly playoffs, the Pirates move back into division 4 where they belong. Logan Moreno scored both Pirates TDs.
The Eagles beat Mendota 28-7. Will Henderson rushed for 165 yards and scored 4 TDs.
The PAG Factor, this is now one of the best rivalries in the Central Section with these schools being right down the street from each other and the recruiting battle for players.
Don’t go by the 1-4 Eagles record because the 30-day transfer period is over and the Eagles have a bunch of new Eagle players. The Eagles benefited more than any team in the Central Section from the 30 day transfer rule and with the 1-4 record, the Eagles will be in division 5 and the team to beat. RB Will Henderson got some new big players upfront that will be blocking for him.
Can the Pirates slow down Henderson? Can the Pirates offense be a balanced attack? This is going to be a battle of who can win the line of scrimmage.
Immanuel will have to build some new apartments with the new Eagles moving into the area.

CLOVIS EAST T WOLVES (6-0) (1-0) vs CLOVIS NORTH BRONCOS (3-3) (0-1)
PAGMETER LINE T WOLVES -5
The Broncos come off a bye and the T Wolves beat Kerman 43-14.
The PAG Factor the T Wolves have steam rolled everybody on their non league schedule averaging close to 50 points per game. Leading the way is sophomore QB Ty Miller who has thrown for 1,221 yards and 14 TDs. RB lamaj Travis has rushed for 558 yards and has scored 13 TDs. WR Harold Duvall has caught 19 footballs for 606 yards and has scored 6 TDs.
The Broncos are finally healthy and leading the way is sophomore RB McKay Madsen who rushed for 216 yards on 7 carries in the win over Bakersfield before the bye. Also back healthy is TE/DL Brayden Bitter. On defense the Broncos have red hot senior DT Rylee Hamm who is stuffing the line of scrimmage. Junior QB Mario Cosma is feeling more comfortable with the Broncos offense.
The Broncos have played a much tougher schedule than the T Wolves and if the schedules were switched, the Broncos would also be 5-0 so the big question in this game is, do the Broncos have the advantage of being more battle tested than the T Wolves?
Can the T Wolves slow down the Broncos power running game? Can the Broncos slow down the hot T Wolves offense? This might just be the best game of the night.
PAGMETER PREDICTION BRONCOS 36 T WOLVES 33
FINAL T WOLVES 39 BRONCOS 35
BUCHANAN BEARS (5-1) (0-1) vs CLOVIS WEST GOLDEN EAGLES (6-0) (1-0)
PAGMETER LINE BEARS -10
Both teams come off byes.
The PAG Factor, the Bears have played a tough non league schedule and will have had 2 weeks to get ready for the 5-0 Golden Eagles.
The Golden Eagles are 5-0 and with their easier schedule, the Golden Eagles have been getting ready for the Bears since July. This game is just like when Fresno State was getting ready for USC. The Dogs waited a long time to play the Trojans.
Leading the Bears is the top QB in the Central Section Jayden Mandal. Senior RB Michael Runnels is healthy again and Jayden’s favorite WR Colton O’toole. The Bears O-line is very good!
On defense and leading the way is RB/LB Gus Remlinger, DB Mekhi Johnson and DE/LB Logan Studt. One of the best LBin the Central Section that nobody knows about is hard-hitting senior Kannon Campbell who makes play after play.
The Golden Eagles will lead with their speedy WRs of juniors Jordan Pierro, Marshel Sanders and Landon Wright. Aidan Fortenberry is the main CW RB. Leading the defense is OLB Bryan Gutierrez, DE/OLB Brian Evans and the 3 speedy WRs in the secondary.
The Golden Eagles offense will be a mirror image of the Fresno State offense with quick passing from QB Ryan Markarian and let the speedsters get out and do their thing. Ryan is a pocket passer so the Bears can pin their ears back and attack.
Will CW be battle tested enough to stay with the Bears? CW is really a year away from being very good and they played the perfect non league schedule for a young team. Can the outstanding Golden Eagles defense slow down the Bears offense? Can the Bears make the open field tackles vs the Golden Eagles speedy receivers on the quick passes?
This is always a great rivalry and these players have been battling against each other since the 5th grade.

MENDOTA AZTECS (3-3) (1-0) at TRANQUILITY TIGERS (1-5) (0-1)
PAGMETER LINE AZTECS -25
The Aztecs lost to Immanuel 28-7. The Aztecs ran into a buzzsaw with Immanuel because of the 30 day transfer rule and the Eagles had plenty of new Eagles showing up that Mendota wasn’t planning on.
The PAG Factor, the Tigers will play tough for 48 minutes.
PAGMETER PREDICTION AZTECS 38 TIGERS 13
FINAL AZTECS 41 TIGERS 14
DINUBA EMPERORS (3-3) (1-0) at HANFORD BULLPUPS (4-2) (0-1)
PAGMETER LINE BULLPUPS -16
Both teams come off a bye.
The PAG Factor, Bullpups senior Cayden Muir is back from a shoulder injury and is ready to get back out there. The Emperors defense is very good so can the Emperors offense have a good night with long drives to keep Muir and the Bullpups offense on the sidelines?
The Emperors can’t compete in a shootout but they can compete in a low scoring game. Watch out for Dinuba if they can get into division 3 because they will be extremely dangerous.
PAGMETER PREDICTION BULLPUPS 37 EMPERORS 21
FINAL EMPERORS 36 BULLPUPS 30

MISSION OAK HAWKS (5-1) (1-0) vs TULARE WESTERN MUSTANGS (2-4) (0-1)
PAGMETER LINE -14
The Hawks come in off a bye and the Mustangs lost to Bakersfield Christian 28-25. QB Carmine Ficher scored 2 TDs and threw a TD pass.
The PAG Factor, the Hawks have had 2 weeks to think about the ugly beat-down to CVC. Will the Hawks come out with a pissed off attitude and take care of business? The Mustangs are the streakest team in the Central Section and looking to put 48 outstanding minutes together. The new WYL league starts now and the Mustangs can start fresh and look to go 1-0 but can’t win this game in a shootout. The Mustangs need to watch the CVC-Mission Oak game video and try to copy anything that worked in shutting down the Hawks offense.
This game will come down to the defensive side of the ball and who can make the big stops.
