The Grizzlies come in beating Clovis 27-20. With the game at 20-19, Clovis leading late in the game, Imari Conley returned a 97-yard kickoff for the game winning touchdown. Ah’Marion Gaines-Smith scored on the 2-point play. QB Dayton Tafoya went 18-33 for 309 Yards and 2 TD passes. LaDanian Streets caught 5 passes for 103-yards and 2 TDs.
The Bears beat Clovis West 44-14. Caden Rodgers started the scoring with a 77-yard screen pass for a TD from QB Jayden Mandal who threw 4 TD passes and 3 going to Josiah Ayon. Michael Runnels scored 2 rushing TDs on runs of 11 and 29 yards.
The X factor both defenses are sooooo good! This game will come down to which offense can control the line of scrimmage. This game is very even, and the turnover battle will be huge. Who can finish drives in the red zone with points? The Bears best player Caden Rodgers went down early in the Clovis West game so if Caden can’t go, Runnels has to pick up the pace running behind a very good offensive line. If you are going to beat Central, it will be on Thursday night and on grass. The Grizzlies have won 23 straight TRAC games (spring football without a playoff doesn’t count) and are the 3-peat central section champions.

The Cavaliers beat Dinuba 24-21. Josh Sousa scored on 2 rushing TDs including the game winning 54-yarder and the Cavaliers hang on for the win. Max Bakker hit Parker Jones on a 20-yard TD pass.
The X factor is the defense on both sides of the ball. It’s a great matchup of two young QBs with Winslow vs Bakker. This could come down to the final drive.

This game is like a tennis match and the Knights have to hold serve on offense with scoring. The Knights can’t afford to punt because the Panthers don’t punt much. The Panthers defense is very good and the Knights have their hands full. This should be a good game at the Chuk. I can see a defensive battle especially at the Chuk with part of the field being dirt.

The X factor and it’s a simple one, can the Broncos win without a passing game? The Cougars defense did a tremendous job against the Grizzlies. A long late kickoff return killed the Cougars in the tough loss. The Cougars will do everything they can to take over the line of scrimmage and force the Broncos to throw the ball. The Broncos defense is also very good and leading the way is senior LB Baylee Hamm. Can the Broncos defense slow down the Cougars high power offense?

This is the first league loss for St. Joseph since 2017. The Eagles come off a bye and come in with a 4-game winning streak.
The X factor were the Knights looking ahead to this game and forgot to take care of business? The Knights play physical defense, and the offense is streaky. Leading the Knights is Travis Royal. The Eagles come in with a power running game and leading the way is RB Makai Puga. The Eagles play physical defense and the biggest difference for the Eagles is the Eagles can now throw the ball with outstanding junior QB Max Perrett who has thrown for 977 yards and 10 TD passes. The Eagles have always been a down hill running team but with Max, the Eagles are dangerous now. This game will be a battle of who can win the line of scrimmage.

As for the Lions, they have hit rock bottom and they used to want to be like Kingsburg so maybe the Lions will regroup after the season and get back to the Lions way of life.

You can blame the Yosemite administration 100% for the Badgers being short handed tonight and they will probably get smoked in this game even if Kerman is struggling. The Badgers QB is out who took some big hits against Immanuel. Other players stopped showing up for practice and who can blame any player/families for putting up with a communist administration?? The reality is that the administration is putting kids in harms way from not practicing.

This game was put together on Thursday morning after the Clovis East T Wolves had to cancel because of the political flu.
The Bullpups come in beating El Diamante 59-32. Leading the way is outstanding junior QB Cayden Muir who threw for 358-yards and 4 TD’s.
The Golden Eagles lost to Buchanan 44-14. CW committed 4 turnovers, 3 of them fumbles. QB Tyler Patrick threw 2 TD passes (D’ante Benjamin 7-yards & and Marshel Sanders 36-yards)
The X factor the Golden Eagles defense going against a red-hot Bullpups offense. The Bullpups have plenty of team speed and will need a big game to stay with Hanford. The Golden Eagles are still rotating QBs and maybe soon they will end that idea because there has never been a successful team rotating QBs. This game will show us if Hanford does belong in division1.
The last 3 weeks the Golden Eagles have had to deal with a very UGLY locker room incident that I don’t want to get into but there are some football players that are no longer on the team. Will the Golden Eagles be ready to play a football game?

The Eagles will lead with the Central Section leading rusher with RB/LB Danny Olivera who has rushed now for 1,226-yards and has scored 22 TD’s. Senior QB Austin Garcia is having a nice year with running the offence.
The Lions run the spread attack is their Senior QB Alex Herrera who is dangerous running and has thrown for 1,021 yards. Junior running back Joe Cowan has rushed for 450 yards with 7 TDs.

The Scots beat North 34-21. Adrian Juarez rushed for 232 yards, scored 3 TDs, QB Jojo Mata threw for 134 yards, scored a TD, and threw a TD. Manny Valeta caught 6 passes for 110 yards. Diego Duenas with 2 interceptions.
The X factor this game was put together Thursday night at 10:30. The Broncos had to call a bus company and will be on the road for 4 hours. This is a shorter trip for the Broncos with most of the trips being 7 plus hours. The big problem for the Broncos is the High Desert league is a complete disaster. The Broncos are the only team that played spring ball and the rest of the league is like pop warner teams. Boron and Kern Valley are the only teams that have potential to field teams. The silly new playoff format has Bishop Union in division 2 but most normal people know that is wrong.
This game will be interesting with both teams scrambling to learn as much as they can about each other. The Scots are loaded with talent and only lost 1 loss and that was to Kennedy who pounded the ball right at the Scots defense, so the big X factor is the Scots defense. This is a tough call to pick a winner.
