4 teams from each will be picked before the playoffs start.
Teams could be from any division & all guaranteed to play in the state playoffs.

PAG METER DIVISION 1 BASKETBALL RANKINGS
No 1 Clovis West Golden Eagles (20-3)(4-0 TRAC)
The Defending Central Section Champions will be led by super junior Cole Anderson. Cole already has 17 Division 1 College offers and will be the all time leading scorer by the time he graduates from CW. The Golden Eagles will need, Jarren Carr and Max Phillips to have big years for the Golden Eagles to return to Selland. Junior transfer Preston Kilbert, is now playing.
No 2 Clovis North Broncos (16-6)(3-1 TRAC)
One of the best big men in the Central Section is senior 6’7 Terri Miller. Watch out for seniors Malachi Henry, David Opoku-Ababio, and Sammy Al Saber who will be leading the Broncos. Junior 6’5 Ak Okereke is real good! A star is born with freshman Blake Freeman.
No 3 Clovis East T Wolves (15-7)(2-2 TRAC)
The T Wolves should be real good this year with seniors Jermal Pittman, Tyler Pacheco, and Will Wiggins. CE Side note-
CE transfer Tommy Newton, was cleared by the CIF. School was late submitting eligibility form and will forfeit 1 game (Fresno High). Newton was a full family move from Sierra and was at CE since school started in August and falls under the Administrative oversight rule.
No 4 Arroyo Grande Eagles (18-4)(4-0 MOUNTAIN)
The Eagles have plenty coming back with seniors Robert Hutchens, & Gage Gomez.
No 5 Memorial Panthers (15-6)(3-0 CMAC)
The Defending Division 2 Champions are now in Division 1. The Panthers will be young and real good with freshman Mike Davis, sophomores Joseph Hunter, Devin Newsome, & Jack Wade, juniors Jaden Geron, & Jalen Douglas. Senior Stephon Young, will be leading the young Panthers.
No 6 St Joseph Knights (17-5)(3-1 MOUNTAIN )
Plenty of outstanding returning juniors with Angel Ortiz, Steven Vasquez, & Sam Bazunga. senior Tim Noe should have a big year. Hey division 1, the Knights are real good!
No 7 Bakersfield Drillers (14-5)(5-0 SWYL)
This could be the year the Drillers win it all and leading the way will be seniors David Whatley, Josh Geary, & Kosta Bikakis.
No 8 Bullard Knights (12-10)(2-1 CMAC)
The Knights will be young. Senior 6’7 Justin Parks has transferred to Fresno High
No 9 Edison Tigers (11-7) (2-1 CMAC)
Tigers Head Coach Jervis Cole is building back the program and leading the way will be Junior Kevon Travis.
No 10 Buchanan Bears (12-11)(2-2 TRAC)
The Bears should have a much better year. Leading the Bears will be the Barnes boys with senior Charlie & junior Coby.
No 11 Mission Prep Royals (12-9)(2-2 MOUNTAIN)
Plenty return with juniors Zac Hatch, Assani Berkeley, & Mark Rodriguez.
No 12 Central Grizzlies (12-8)(1-3 TRAC)
The Grizzlies will be real young with sophomores, Marquise Greene, Kaylon Mason, & Jaylon Walton, along juniors Mo Musleh, & Cedric Coward. This team will get better and better each week.
No 13 Clovis Cougars (10-11)(0-4 TRAC)
The Cougars have one of the best players in the section with senior Cal Stilson
No 14 Liberty Patriots (4-11)(1-3 SWYL)
The Patriots are always a good shooting teams and this year look out for senior Brock Batten, junior Aydin Medrano, & sophomore Justin Yasukochi.
No 15 Stockdale Mustangs (9-7)(0-4 SWYL)
The Mustangs are off to a great start and leading the way will be senior Lawrence Duru.
No 16 Sunnyside Wildcats (5-14)(1-2 NYL)
The Wildcats are playing a tough schedule. Leading the way will be senior Elijah Mouanoutoua.
