CMAC
Madera Coyotes (3-4) (0-2) vs Edison Tigers (3-4) (1-0)
Pag Meter Line Edison -19
Edison Tigers Head Coach Atnaf Harris was put on administrative leave has now resigned. How will the Tigers players handle the inner family mess? AD Hector Verduzco takes over for Harris and who knows, maybe that was the plan all along.
This entire problem started with the former Edison principal who tore the Football program down and didn’t take care of Matt Johnson. For starters, Matt wanted early morning football PE just like every school they play against. It was never a fair playing field. It was an uphill battle for anything when it came to football. So Matty J and left and so did plenty of players. Harris ended up getting football PE but the players still left the program.
One of the greatest football programs in valley history is hanging on by Life Support and it’s all because of the former Principal.
I called it when Matt left that Edison would slowly turn into a division 2 program soon, Washington Union would take off and Central would get even stronger.
The X factor is the Coyotes offense trying to keep the clock moving. THEY DID. Even with all the issues, the Tigers should have enough to win. HAD TO HANG ON
Pag Meter Prediction Edison 39 Madera 20
Side note-there’s a chance that Madera South will get a win vs Edison because Edison might have used an ineligible player?? Stay tuned

Sunnyside Wildcats (3-4) (2-0) vs Fresno High Warriors (0-7) (0-2)
Pag Meter Line Sunnyside -31
The Wildcats are back home playing in the NYL where they feel comfortable. Outside of the NYL and it’s like driving at night without the lights on for the Wildcats.
The Warriors are a mess but can score some points.
The X factor can the Warriors tackle the Wildcats? NOT IN THE 2ND HALF

Pag Meter Line Central -21
The Grizzlies come off a huge win over Buchanan 41-20. The Grizzlies have won 19 straight TRAC games. With the score tied at 20-20 in the 3rd quarter, DB Sean Haymon returned a 52-yard pick 6 and the game winner. Ja’kob Jones, with a 4-yard TD run. Jameson Silva went 22-26 for 298 Yards, and 3 TD passes. Xavier Worthy had 9 receptions for 168 yards and 3 TD passes.
Clovis Beat Clovis East 24-21. The Cougars were down 21-7 at the half. Tristan Risley scored 2 TD’s, Nate Johnson scored on a 28-yard TD run. Ron Rocha, nailed a 30-yard field goal.
The X factor is the Grizzlies played a huge game last Thursday and they have to play on a another Thursday night. Thursday night football is tough to get up for. Can the Grizzlies stay fired up? Look for the Grizzlies to start slow and come on strong. Clovis has to play their best game to stay in this one. If the Grizzlies come out hot, this could be a blow out. IT WAS A BLOW OUT
Pag Meter Prediction Central 44 Clovis 23
FINAL CENTRAL 56 CLOVIS 14
It was Thursday night and the Grizzlies played 48 outstanding minutes. This is a business like team. They could play on a Tuesday morning and they would bring their A game.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
CENTRAL SEQUOIA
Kingsburg Vikings (7-0) (2-0) at Central Valley Christian Cavaliers (4-3) (1-1)
Pag Meter CVC -21
The big news and it’s not good for the Vikings. Pag Meter All Star QB Jett Jackson, hurt his knee cap and is out for the year. HUGE LOSS and the Vikings season just changed!! The Vikings beat Exeter 21-14.
CVC beat Dinuba 35-34. The top back in the section Jaalen Rening, had another great night! Tyce Griswold hit Rening for a 62-yard TD pass and the game winner. Rening also scored on a 58-yard run.
The X factor is the Vikings offense will change with senior Travis Hall at QB and now the Vikings have to tangle with Rening. AND THEY SURE DID!
Pag Meter Prediction CVC 35 Kingsburg 14
FINAL KINGSBURG 34 CVC 20 HUGE WIN FOR THE VIKINGS!! One of the biggest wins in a LONG time. Travis Hall and the defense stepped up.

Pag Meter Prediction Selma 38 Dinuba 36
FINAL SELMA 36 DINUBA 23
CMAC
Sanger Apaches (5-2) (1-1) vs Bullard Knights (5-2) (1-1)
Pag Meter Line Bullard -2
Last year the Apaches beat the Knights 38-36. Bullard leads the series 23-15.
Sanger comes in rolling after beating Madera 59-21. QB Noel Collazo continues to run the offense to perfection! Noel rushed for 138 yards and scored 2 TD’s.
The Knights lost to Memorial 33-31. The Knights couldn’t make the big play when needed and the kicking team is killing them. Shalom Welch scored on a 51-yard TD run. Bryce Weiner threw 2 TD passes. Dre Greeley, caught 2 TD passes and returned a 83-yard kickoff for a TD
The X factor is what has happened to the Knights running game? The Knights identity on offense is lost and it’s sad to see. The Knights have moved into a full on spread attack and they are not a true spread attack team. The Knights have some great receivers along with one of the best running backs in the section not being used with Welch. I’m guessing the Knights see Memorial’s spread attack and wants to copy it but the Knights should never get away from what they are known for. You can always do both with the spread and still run down hill. With what the Knights are doing they have no chance to beat the top teams in front of them in the rankings.
We all know what Sanger is known for and that is the triple option running attack. This game comes down to the Apaches defense and can the Apaches throw the ball when needed.
Pag Meter Prediction Bullard 33 Sanger 31
FINAL BULLARD 29 SANGER 15
Memorial Panthers (6-1) (2-0) vs Madera South Stallions (4-3) (1-1)
Pag Meter Memorial -35+
The Panthers come in beating Bullard 33-31. The Panthers made the big plays when needed over the Knights. Mac Dalena, had 11 receptions for 189 yards, scored 3 TD’s and had a huge INT late in the win. WR Jalen McMillan had his best game for the Panthers who had 8 receptions, now has 210 for his career, 2nd most in Central Section History and now has scored 47 TD’s in his career. QB Finn Collins, threw for 360 yards on 23-35 & 4 TD passes. Jordan Hornbeak, scored a TD.
The Stallions lost to Edison 40-23. The Stallions had the ball trailing 27-20 with 7 minutes to go but fumbled and the game got away from them.
The X factor this is a horrible matchup for the Stallions defense. SJM offense is light years better than the Edison offense.
Pag Meter Prediction Memorial 57 Madera South 20
Side note-there’s a chance that Madera South will get a win vs Edison because Edison might have used an ineligible player

Clovis West Golden Eagles (3-4) (1-1) at Buchanan Bears (4-3) (1-1)
Pag Meter Line Buchanan -20
The Golden Eagles come in after a big win over CN 41-13. CW listened to everybody saying CN was real good at 5-0 and they didn’t believe it so C dub took care of business.
The Golden Eagles defense stepped up and played a great game. Freshman QB Dayton Tafoya came in for the injured Bradley Senneway and sparked the offense along with David Pierro who did a great job with the Wildcat scoring 3 TD’s including a 14-yard TD run and a 50-yard Pick 6. Mateo Morales scored on a 8-yard TD run. Brandon Wafer was tough to slow down and scored 2 TD’s.
The Bears lost to Central 41-20. DJ Stevenson scored on a 23-yard TD run and then hurt his shoulder and didn’t play in the 2nd half. Kendall Milton rushed for 86 yards on 16 carries and scored 2 TD’s on runs of 2 and 23 yards.
The X factor is the Bears just don’t match up with Central but they do against everybody else and that’s why the Bears are No 2 on the Pag Meter.
Who will be the QB for CW? Will it be Freshman Tafoya? Pierro ? Maybe both again? Going against the Bears defense won’t be fun.
Who will be the Bears QB? Could it be Sophomore Ian Kirby who came in for the injured Stevenson. Kirby can throw it and will be very good. Kirby actually gives the Bears the passing game they are missing. The only problem is he’s very green. Look for Milton to have a big game.

The T Wolves lost to Clovis 24-21 but did they really lose? The T Wolves beat Clovis but the final score won’t show it.
1:10 to go, T Wolves Chandler Hamilton, made a game-winning 37-yard TD catch and it wasn’t close. It should have been called a TOUCHDOWN!
Both Clovis Unified School Refs got together and said NO GOOD. Bottom line, the Clovis Unified School Refs blew the call! Hamilton caught the ball and both feet were in. If you are going to overrule, You better be right!
Knowing the CIF and with Clovis/Clovis East having the great crowds, look for a rematch.
The X factor and there are 3 X factors.
No 1 who is going to be the Broncos QB? Senior Trenton Luera or Junior Garrett Jones?
No 2 is the Broncos front seven ready for a war up front against the Wing T?
No 3 is Clovis East coming in with a hard-ass attitude..It’s us against the world after getting screwed on Friday Night?
