PAGMETER TOP 100 PLAYERS TO KEEP AN EYE ON IN 2019

KENDALL MILTON, Senior, BUCHANAN BEARS (RB)
The most recruited player in the section. Came on strong after playing hurt the first part of the year rushing for 1,337 yards and scored 27 TD’s. This year Kendall should go over 2,000 plus yards especially being a 5-star running back. Kendall has verbally committed to be a Georgia Bulldog.

BEN YUROSEK, Senior, Bakersfield Christian Eagles (TE/DE)
Might just be the best player in the section. He will be tough to slow down at Tight End and at D-End. He has verbally committed to play for the Stanford Cardinal.

TOBIN PHILLIPS, Senior, MEMORIAL PANTHERS (D-LINE)
Will come into 2019 as the best defensive linemen in the Central Section, The 6’4, 275 lb CMAC All Star had 8 sacks with 70 tackles for the Division 3 Champions. Tobin has verbally committed and will be playing for the Stanford Cardinal.

JEREMIAH HUNTER, Senior, CENTRAL GRIZZLIES (WR)
The best receiver in the Section that will go over the middle with the tough catch or take it deep. Jeremiah caught 83 passes for 1,364 yards and scored 25 TD’s. Jeremiah has verbally committed to play for the Cal Bears. Jeremiah might get frustrated because Trent is not the Central QB. Stay tuned.

JALEN MCMILLIAN, Senior, MEMORIAL PANTHERS (WR)
Has many offers from all over and has verbally committed to play for the University of Washington. Jalen had 1,278 yards, 63 Receptions, with 17 TD’s for the back to back division 3 section Champions. In two years, he has caught 141 passes for 3,088 yards and has scored 38 TD’s.

JAALEN RENING, Senior, CENTRAL VALLEY CHRISTIAN CAVALIERS (RB)
Runner up for Pag Meter Offensive Player of the Year. Leader in the clubhouse for the award in 2019. What makes Jaalen so good is not only is he one of the fastest running backs in the state, he played both ways, and never came off the field. He had 2,637 all-purpose yards, averaged 8.8 yards per carry, 20.2 yards per reception, and scored 32 TD’s. Jaalen has verbally committed to play at UC DAVIS

KENAU WILLIAMS, Junior, CLOVIS COUGARS (DE)
One of the best defensive ends already in the state and only getting better. Kenau is 6’5, 260 lbs and getting plenty of offers including USC and Utah. Kenau is quick, strong and many teams will not be running on his side of the field.

MAC DALENA, Senior, MEMORIAL PANTHERS (WR/DB)
One of the best in the state that never comes off the field. Mac played receiver, caught 58 football for 1,060 yards and scored 16 TD’s. On defense he made 54 tackles, 5 interceptions and was the kicker with 84 extra points. Mac has verbally committed to play for the Fresno State Bulldogs.

RAMON HENDERSON, Senior, Liberty Patriots (WR/DB/KR)
Henderson has 10 offers, including UCLA, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. He will never come off the field for the Patriots and dangerous with the ball.

JAKE STEELS, Senior, Righetti High Warriors (WR/DB)
The 2018 Pag Meter All Star is the best wide receiver and defensive back on the central coast.

QUALI CONLEY, Senior, CENTRAL GRIZZLIES (RB)
Watch out for Quali this year because the Grizzlies offense will cater to their star RB. At the beginning of his junior year, nobody knew just how good Quali was until an early scrimmage. Coaches were like,”Hey who’s that guy?” What a year he had running and catching the football. He rushed for 1,331 yards, scored 17 TD’s, caught 46 passes for another 846 yards and score more TD’s for the Central Section Champions.

JORDAN BURRELL, Senior, TULARE WESTERN MUSTANGS (DB)
One of the best defensive backs in the Central Section. The EYL All Star had 8 interceptions and JB will come into 2019 as one of the top players in the Central Section. Jordan also gets it done in the classroom and has verbally committed to play at Davidson College in North Carolina.

ISAAC JERNAGIN, Senior, BAKERSFIELD DRILLERS (WR/DB)
Almost moved to Orange County but it wasn’t a good fit so he came back to Driller land. This super athlete has verbally committed to play at Nevada and will be a big part of the Drillers offense.

WILLIE JAMES, Junior, TULARE UNION TRIBE (WR)
What a year for the speedy sophomore catching 86 footballs for 1,207 yards and scored 13 TD’s. Willie will be one of the best Tribe Wide Receivers in school history by the time he graduates. TU will figure out a way to get Willie the football anyway they can.

DIRK NELSON, Senior, CENTRAL VALLEY CHRISTIAN CAVALIERS (OL/DL)
One of the most dominating offensive and defensive linemen in the state. Dirk helped the Cavaliers win the division 4 section Championship and also the State Southern Championship. On defense he was double teamed on every play and had so many bone crushing hits. On offense the Cavaliers loved running behind the beast. Dirk was named Lineman of the Year in the Central Sequoia League. Dirk has offers from Air Force, Montana State, New Mexico, Army, Nevada, UNLV, Oregon and San Jose St with many more offers coming.

DEZJOHN MALONE, Senior, EDISON TIGERS (DB)
The Tigers captain will come into 2019 as the #1 cornerback in the Section. He’s a lockdown Corner that most teams will not throw in his direction. Dezjohn has verbally committed to play for the Fresno State Bulldogs.

XAVIER HALEY, Junior, TULARE UNION TRIBE (DB/S)
Keep an eye on the new star at Tulare Union who is fast and also a physical hitter. The Central Section Ronnie Lott, will be making plenty of tackles on the Tribes defense. Xavier is also one heck of a wrestler!

WESLEY WILSON, Senior, Bakersfield Drillers, (RB)
One of the most dangerous running backs in the section. Last year he rushed for 1,171 rushing yards with 18 touchdowns and most of it was in the 2nd half of the season. If Wilson goes off this year, the Drillers will be tough to beat.

GAVIN HALS, Senior, EDISON TIGERS  (OL)
Gavin is a brand new Tiger transferring in from Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa and will be one of the best offensive linemen in the Central Section. Gavin is 6’6” 305lb and was under the radar but not any longer. Gavin is being recruited by most of the Mountain West and PAC 12 teams. Edison is getting a good one.

KOSI AGINA, Senior, SANGER APACHES (RB)
Get ready for a huge year for the Apaches running back. Kosi already holds 6 offers including Fresno State and Cal Poly. The CMAC Most Valuable Offensive Player of the year rushed for 1,095 yards and scored 18 touchdowns last season. Look for big stats in 2019 for the powerful and speedy back.

ELIJAH BURRELL, Senior, TULARE WESTERN MUSTANGS (QB)
Elijah should be really rested because the Mustangs sure didn’t use his skills last year running that some sort of Wing T silly offense. This year will be different! The Stangs are letting loose one of the best QB’s in our section and keep an eye on the TW offense because they finally get it. Next stop will be Davidson College in North Carolina and going with brother Jordan.

HADEN MANN, Junior, Liberty Patriots (QB)
The most physical QB in the central section at 6’2” 220 lbs. The defenses better be ready to strap it up because Haden will run you over.

CJ JONES, Senior, Buchanan Bears (SS)
Keep an eye on CJ because he is on so many college radar including all Mountain West and Pac 12 schools. He is strong at Safety and could play some WR. CJ is the son of Charlie Jones who was outstanding at Fresno State

JOSH MAGANA, Senior, DINUBA EMPERORS (QB)
Josh should have a huge year for the senior QB. The 3-year starter is ready to lead the Emperors for a long playoff run after throwing for 4,713 yards and 63 TD passes in his first 2 years. Keep an eye on the Emperors with Josh at QB.

JE’KOB JONES, Junior, CENTRAL GRIZZLIES (LB)
Co-Defensive TRAC Player of the year that came up big for the Central Section Champion Central Grizzlies. He had 7 sacks along with 122 tackles and he will only get better the next 2 years. Je’Kob has his first offer from UC Davis with many more to come.

JOSEPH CAMPBELL, Senior, Garces Rams (QB)
JC has a new coach and the good news is he won’t have to run the Paul Golla Triple Option.
Campbell has thrown for 3,553 passing yards with 19 touchdowns passes. He will have plenty of targets to throw to and the Rams offense will be real good!

MIKEY FICHER, Junior, TULARE WESTERN MUSTANGS (S/WR)
Mikey will never come off the field playing Safety, Slot, Punt Returner and Kick Off returner. Mikey is also a Pag Meter All Star in Basketball and has a 4.0 GPA. Mikey is the quietest super star out there.

ALIJAH ALEXANDER-WILLIAMS, Senior, Ridgeview Wolf Pack (RB/LB)
One of the best in the South Valley and having a fantastic career for the Pack on both sides of the ball. Look for a big year!

KOBE JENKINS, Senior, BULLARD KNIGHTS (DB)
Keep an eye on Kobe because he will have a breakout season with the Knights.
The 6-foot, 185 lb is a lockdown Corner on the Knights defense. Kobe is a late bloomer and offers will start rolling in including UNLV.

TAIRYN JOHNSON, Senior, TULARE WESTERN MUSTANGS (RB)
One of the best stories in 2018 was TJ who rushed for 1,747 yards and scored 26 TD’s. If TJ goes off again in 2019 then get ready for TW playing on Championship Friday.

NICK SALAS, Senior, Highland Scots (QB/RB)
Dangerous with the football in his hands. Should put up big numbers. Nick is a winner in any sport he plays in.

TYLER MELLO, Senior, Hanford Bullpups (LB)
Will be a force at linebacker with plenty of speed and will smack you. Last year he made 133 tackles with 14 sacks. The Bullpups are looking for big things from their All Star linebacker who has verbally committed to play at UC Davis.

ZANE RIX, Senior, Buchanan Bears (OL)
A big part of the best O-line in the Central Section. The Bears will run plenty behind Rix.

CALEB TOMASIN, Senior, Arroyo Grande Eagles (RB)
Will be a big force running in the power Eagles offense. Very physical back with speed.

LJ LAULA, Senior, West Vikings (RB/LB)
The best downhill runner in the section at 240lb. LJ is a beast! If he stays healthy, he will put up good numbers.

VELLTRAY JEFFERSON, Junior, EDISON TIGERS (WR)
A star is ready to be born and he already has offers verbally committed to USC. That being said, look for Velltray to have big year at wide receiver At 6’3 at 200 lbs, Velltray could end up a tight end by the time he graduates and will be compared to former Bullard/USC, Anthony McCoy.

ZION HALL, Junior, Ridgeview Wolf Pack (WR/DB)
One of the best and a speedster. The Pack will work to get him the ball as much as possible.

PETER DELIS, Senior, Garces Rams (DB/K/P)
Team leader on defense in the secondary and one heck of a kicker/punter. Good old fashioned high school football player.

DOMINIC MENDEZ, Senior, Central Grizzlies (LB)
3 year starter on defense and a man beast. Had an outstanding junior year for the Central Section Champions. The TRAC All Star had 8 sacks along with 115 tackles.

JONPAUL LAFEVER, Senior, Garces Rams (OL)
A big part of the very good offensive line for the Rams.

TAHJ KELLY, Senior, Kennedy Thunderbirds (RB/WR/DB)
This is a true sleeper and a player that should be a the watch list! Sat out most of last season. He is a big hard hitter at safety and a big presence for anyone crossing the middle.

JUARON WATTS-BROWN, Senior, HANFORD BULLPUPS (QB)
The speedy QB with a very good arm, will have the Bullpups ready for a tremendous year. If Juaron goes off his senior year, the Bullpups will be tough to beat.

PRENTICE BOONE, junior, Liberty Patriots (RB/LB)
Every year the Patriots have a stud in the middle and at running back. Meet Prentice Boone!

WILLIAM KLOSTER, Senior, LEMOORE TIGERS (RB/MLB)
The team leader on defense at middle linebacker with 133 tackles. Will was unblockable and look for a huge year on both sides of the ball in 2019. He has verbally committed to wrestle at Cal Poly.

JETT JACKSON, Junior, Kingsburg Vikings (QB)
The most dangerous dual threat QB in the section.

DYLAN TOOKER, Senior Liberty Patriots (LB)
One of the best linebackers in the Central section is back with Pag Meter All Star and the SWYL Defensive Player of the year. Dylan is ready for a big year.

RICKY CORREIA, Senior, CENTRAL GRIZZLIES (DL)
Everybody has been waiting for Ricky to get healthy and this year he will be. Having a GREAT off-season and finally 100% healthy, many division 1 college teams including all the PAC 12 teams are excited to see what the outstanding 6’4, 320 lb defensive linemen can do on the field.

JUSTIN HINZO, Senior, Ridgeview Wolf Pack (QB)
He is really good and the Wolf Pack’s offense will be dangerous with Justin running the show.

DRE GREELEY, Senior, BULLARD KNIGHTS (DB)
The best lockdown cornerback that nobody knows about YET! Last year he shut down every top receiver in the section with 1 or 0 catches per game and the section has some of the best receivers in the state/country. Dre will be getting plenty of offers once the season starts.

JALEN SMITH, Junior, Garces Rams (RB/DB)
Will be a star this year on both sides of the ball with plenty of speed.

LONNIE WESSEL, Junior, Golden West Trailblazers (LB/RB)
Absolute stud at ILB and FB. Will be a D1 prospect very soon.

CAMERON BEANS, Senior, El Diamante Miners (LB)
Cameron is 6’1″, 215 and will play on both sides of the ball, is a sprinter and who has been getting a lot of college interest.

IAN JERNAGIN, Sophomore, Bakersfield Drillers (RB/WR/LB)
Will never come off the field and the leader in the club house for Pag Meter Underclassmen of the year.

BRANDON WAFER, Senior, Clovis West Golden Eagles (RB)
He has speed, power and will be a big part of the Golden Eagles offense.

DJ STEVENSON, Junior, BUCHANAN BEARS (QB)
Has the makings to be a star QB. DJ has speed and a fantastic arm. The Bears X factor at making to Championship Friday is Stevenson. DJ didn’t play basketball to focus on football so he’s all in at QB. The Bears offense should be dangerous in 2019.

DAVID STEVENSON, Senior, Bakersfield Christian Eagles (CB/S)
Speedy and a good lock down Corner

DAMIAN HERNANDEZ, Senior, WOODLAKE TIGERS (QB)
Outstanding junior year throwing for 3,036 yards with 32 touchdowns. The Tigers will be one of the favorites in division 5 with Damian at QB.

SHALOM WELCH, Senior, Bullard Knights (RB)
The Knights have had the best running backs as a team for the last 20 years and now it’s Welch’s turn. Shalom has the power and speed to make the Knights offense very dangerous.

BRAYDEN BLEVINS, Junior, Liberty Patriots (K/P)
Leader in the club house for Pag Meter Kicker of the year.

CADE FORAKER, Senior, Clovis North Broncos (OL)
One of the best linemen in the TRAC

SLOAN SIMPSON, Senior, Liberty Patriots (OL/DL)
Every year the Patriots have a great line O-line and Sloan is one of the best.

MICHAEL WESSEL, Junior, Golden West Trailblazers (QB/RB/S)
Will play safety and QB/RB. Smart player who works his tail off.

RICKY SOLORIO, Junior, Kennedy Thunderbirds (RB)
Missed last year with a broken ankle and is back and ready to roll. He’s fast, strong and very shifty. The Birds are expecting a big year from their RB.

BRADY PEASE, Senior, Caruthers Blue Raiders (TE/DE)
He’s the JJ Watt of the Central Section. Speed from the edge and has great hands.

HECTOR NAVA Jr, Junior, PORTERVILLE PANTHERS (QB)
Hector was the newcomer star of the year in 2018! The Panthers won some big games in the last minute and Hector played like a veteran. He threw for 2,756 yards with 23 TD passes and watch out for the Panthers the next 2 years with Hector at QB.

SHAUN ALLEN, Senior, Ridgeview Wolf Pack (RB/DB)
Fast and electric on both sides of the ball. Super talent.

JORDAN FIELDS, Senior, Righetti High Warriors (LB)
All Star LB and the Warriors team leader

DYLAN HOLMES, Senior, Liberty Patriots (TE/LB)
Very physical on both sides of the ball. Dylan brings in that Patriots toughness.

CHANDLER HAMILTON, Senior, Clovis East T Wolves (RB/S)
He is looking to have a big year on both sides of the ball.

ISAIAH BELL, Senior, Garces Rams (WR/DB)
Speedy and dangerous on both sides of the ball.

JOEY RAMIREZ, Junior, Selma Bears (QB)
The key player for the Bears at QB and yes, the younger brother of Bears outstanding QB JR Ramirez who graduated in 2017

MATEO MORALES, Senior, Clovis West Golden Eagles (LB)
Outstanding summer in the weight room and the team leader on the Golden Eagles defense. Look for Mateo to be a TRAC All Star.

JACKSON SANCHEZ, Senior, Shafter Generals (WR/DB)
One of the best receivers in the south valley and will be the leader on a young team. Jackson broke his foot during the summer and will be back around week 4.

MATTHEW MERRITT, Senior, Buchanan Bears (DT/G)
One of the best two way players and will be a 3-year starter.

CHRISTIAN ALVAREZ, Senior, Wasco Tigers (RB/DB)
Looking to have a big year and a big weapon for the Tigers.

BRYCE WEINER, Junior, Bullard Knights (QB)
Hey Central Section, meet Bryce because this kid is good. If the Knights want to make a run for a championship, Weiner has to have a stellar year. He has a very good arm and smart.

SETH ROBASCIOTTI, Senior, Atascadero Greyhounds (TE/DL)
The Italian Stallions (6’2”, 240lb) is one of the best on the Central Coast.

CAMERON BONNER, senior, Bakersfield Drillers (RB/LB)
Fast, team leader and very physical.

HUDSON WALKER, Senior, Redwood Rangers (DE)
Remember you heard it first on the Pag Meter. 6’4” DE Hudson Walker is so good on the edge with his speed that teams might not challenge his side.

AUSTIN BENO, Junior, El Diamante Miners (RB)
The Miners main back and already has 2 years of varsity experience.

JAYDEN SMITH, Senior, Frontier Titans (HB/WR)
Will be a big part of the offense and team leader at 6’1″190lb

DOMINIC GAMBONI, Senior, Bakersfield Christian Eagles (QB)
The Italian Stallion is ready to take the Eagles on a ride. This is his team now and if Gamboni has a great year then get the snack bar loaded up or the Charter ready because the Eagles will be playing on Championship Friday.

BOBBY STALEY, Senior, Caruthers Blue Raiders (RB/LB)
This kid would be an All Star on any team. Hard nose player with speed and always around the ball.

TRENTON LUERA, Senior, Clovis North Broncos (QB)
Trenton is big, strong, very smart and with a very good arm. It’s his time to shine.

NICK LOPEZ, Garces Rams senior, (DB)
One of the best in the South Valley and a tremendous lock down corner.

TRAVONE HOUSTON, Senior, Hanford Bullpups (RB)
Looking to have a breakout year with speed and power.

CHRISTIAN CLEGG, Senior, San Luis Obispo Tigers (LB)
A huge part of the Tigers defense at linebacker and a hard hitter.

GAVIN LAYTON, Senior, Kerman Lions (QB)
Senior leader on a young team. Last year he threw for 1,873 yards with 19 TD’s.

RYLAN HOWE, Senior, Liberty Madera Hawks
Will be a force at Running Back and at LB. Tremendous motor.

GARRETT PRICE, Senior, Coalinga Horned Toads (FB/LB)
WSL Defensive Player of the year and should have a HUGE year on both sides of the ball playing at 200lb.

MATT TIGER, Senior, Immanuel Eagles, (QB/FB/SS)
The Eagles are dangerous when Tiger (Great name for a QB) has the ball. The Eagles could play him all over and you just know the game plan, feed the Tiger.

RICKY EASTWOOD, Junior, Bakersfield Drillers (QB)
Will be the guy in the new spread offense and could have a bunch of yards throwing with a ton speed around him.

MARIO REYNOSA, Senior, Orange Cove Titans (QB)
Looking to have a huge year and winning it all for the Titans. Tough competitor.

EMILIO CORONA, Senior, San Luis Obispo Tigers (QB)
3-sport athlete (Basketball/Baseball) and one heck of a QB. He has verbally committed  to play baseball at Washington University.

TRISTIAN VALLE, Senior, Bishop Union Broncos (OL/DL)
HDL linemen of the year and physical upfront. The Broncos will be running behind Tristian.

BRIAN KOWALL, Senior, Mission Preps Royals (RB)
He rushed for over 2,000 yards last year and will be dangerous this year. Hey Central Valley, get ready for Brian Kowall show. The Cal Bears are in pursuit of the outstanding running back.

CESAR ACOSTA, Senior Corcoran Panthers, (WR)
He’s gotten so much more faster and explosive this offseason from track, and he was already hard to cover.

GAVIN GAMBLE, Senior, Sierra Pacific Golden Bears (RB)
He could have a huge year for the G Bears. Gavin will be a big part of the offense.

JOSH RODRIQUEZ, Junior, Parlier Panthers (QB)
Is a Dual Threat QB that every team would love to have run the offense.

LANDON NELSON, Junior, San Luis Obispo Tigers (CB)
Here is the perfect player for a watch list because this Cornerback is on the rise. look for a big year in the secondary. Landon is an excellent coverage back and a tremendous tackler.

MOISES AGUNDEZ, Junior, Minarets Mustangs
Very good center at 6’2” 290. One of the best linemen in the Section and already has multiple D1 and D2 schools talking to him. Still has 2 years left. Watch out!

THOMAS COLE Junior, San Luis Obispo Tigers (OL)
A giant at 6-7, 270. and will be a force on the O-line. Thomas will be heavily recruited started now his junior year with Colleges coming in from everywhere. Thomas has plenty of PAC 12 teams looking at him.

BRADEN WATERMAN, Junior, Paso Robles Bearcats (QB)
At 6’4” he has the potential to be real good for the Bearcats.

ISAIAH ROBLES, Senior, Clovis Cougars (QB)
Looking to have a big year and the Cougars will jump on his back.

TORY HORTON, Junior, Washington Union Panthers (WR)
Transferred in from Edison and getter and better every week.

JONATHAN SERDINSKY, Senior, Frontier Titans (OT)
Plays at 6’5″ 275 LB and one of the best offensive linemen in the section

JORDAN FIELDS, Junior, Righetti High Warriors (LB)
All Star linebacker is ready to lead the Warriors. Very physical.

THOMAS KNIGHT, Senior, Hanford Bullpups (MLB)
One of the fastest Middle Linebackers in the section. Looking to have a big year.

JOHNNY GARCIA, Senior, Dinuba Emperors (DL)
3 year starter and the team leader. Always around the ball.

MARTIN URROZ, Senior, Minarets Mustangs (QB)
Outstanding junior year throwing for 3,313 yards and 31 TD passes. If Martin has another fantastic year , along with the Mustangs defense improving, watch out because the Stangs could be playing on Championship Friday.

MAX RICHEY, Senior, Centennial Golden Hawks (QB)
Working hard to make the G Hawks a contender. Max will be one of the best running QB’s in the section.

TYLER WRIGHT, Senior, Kerman Lions (LB)
Last year with 129 total tackles and the force at LB.

ISAAC FRANCO, Senior, Caruthers Blue Raiders (WR/DB)
3-year starter and one of the best athletes in the section. Dangerous receiver and always making plays on defense.

CHRISTIAN JONES, Junior, San Luis Obispo Tigers (OL)
Along with Thomas Cole, the Tigers will have the two most top recruited offensive Linemen in the state. Christian is 6-9, 340 lb and plenty of schools including the PAC 12 are all over the massive junior.

COLE DIAS, Senior, Kingsburg Vikings, (LB)
The senior Linebacker for the Viking. at 6-2, 210lb. The University of San Diego and Valparaiso are in pursuit.

WILL SCHALDE, Senior, Lemoore Tigers (TE/OLB)
6’5” and will be dominated in the red zone. Will is the true watch list player.

  • Check out Sr OL/ DL Lineman Evan Wood if Mission Prep High. 6’8 315. He’s undeniable and a force to be reckoned with.
