Folsom only lost is to De La Salle who are 14-0.
Both teams met last year in the playoffs, when Central lost 35-54. Central will look to redeem that loss Friday night at home. The Grizzlies are well rested coming off a bye last week. Central beat Liberty in its last game 58-34. Tompkins who was 23 for 35 and threw for over 400 yards ,5 touchdowns rushed for 47 yards . Trent Tompkins recently committed to UC Davis over Brown, Saint Francis, and Nevada university. Tompkins threw for over 4,000 passing yards 60TD and 3 int’s this season but was not heavily recruited because of his height. Tompkins will continue to prove everyone wrong and will not look to add a state championship under his belt.
Junior Quali Conley Rushed for 96 yards on 17 carries and 3 touchdowns and 6 catches 106 yards 1td. Wr Jeremiah Hunter had 9 catches for 148 yards 1td. Central has played a great season so far and look to continue that Friday night against Folsom. The Bulldogs of Folsom are a very speedy team with great athletes led by Senior QB Kaiden Bennett, who is committed to Boise State. Bennett threw for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns last time he faced Central.
The Folsom offense also has Senior WR Joseph Ngata who had 3 touchdowns in last years game Ngata is committed to play at Clemson next year. Folsom is very well coached team and has so much depth and talent and will give Central some fits. Couple of matchups to watch in this game will be Central Hunter vs Folsom Elijah Badger, Folsom Joseph Ngata vs Central Silas Proby. Key players to watch from Folsom Daniyel Ngata, Caleb Nelson,Tyler Hardeman. Key players to watch from Central, Noah Gonzales,Tyrell Grayson, Milton Clement’s, Quail Conley.
Keys to the game for Folsom owning the first half and running the ball Central has struggled in the first half all season and has struggled to stop the run that times. For Central bringing it all 48 mins and stopping Folsom attack through the air. Ngata vs Proby will be the matchup of game Proby has been great all year and has continued to get better every week but this will be his toughest matchup this season Proby has stood up to ever challenge this season.
