Pag Meter Division 1 Final Softball Rankings 2018
No 1 Clovis Cougars (30-2) (10-0 TRAC CHAMPIONS) (10 time Valley Champions)(Easter Classic Champions)
*Beat Buchanan 6-3. WP Danielle Lung (25-0 and 91 career wins) 10 time Valley Champions!

*Cougars 2018 notes
*Tori Mueller set the school record for hitting streaks by starting the season hitting safely in our first 17 games. The old record of 16 was set by Cassi Brangham way back in 1997
* Cougars 30-2 record gives them the best winning percentage for a season in school history at 938. The old record was set in 2002 at 38-3 (.927). That year, Clovis won 36 straight games
* Cougars’ 19 errors was the fewest in School history for a season. That breaks the old mark of 20 set back in 1996. What’s the old saying…”defense wins championships” – must be true.
* With 19 career home runs for their careers, Jordyn Martinez and Emily Puente (both seniors) now share the Clovis High career home run record. Before their freshman season, the old record was 11 by former Clovis great Amanda Scott (93-96)
* Clovis hit 31 home runs during the season, which is 10 more than the previous record set in 2016. Leading the way was Emily Puente’s 9 (which ties Amanda Scott (1996) as the most in a season), followed by Jordyn Martinez & Allie Puente with 7.
