Grizzlies Three-Peat

The Central Grizzlies are heading back to the Valley Championship game! After a 23 -7 season, the Grizzlies will play the Bullard Knights. Central lost to Bullard earlier this year 73-70 at the Clovis West Nike Invitationals.
The Grizzlies have been in this stage for the last two years but this year could be different. Central has all the momentum right now but have been a little shaky this year losing to Clovis North and Buchanan(twice). Central is coming off a great win 71-69 last friday against Liberty and against Sunnyside 81-78 Tuesday night.
The Grizzlies may have played the game of the year Tuesday night against Sunnyside getting a buzzer beater from Junior forward Jahmai Bartley to force overtime.Central would pull this one off and survive to play for the Valley Championship. The senior duo’s Cashemin Williams had a great game with 21 points and so did Cam’ron Wilson with 21 points.
The Grizzlies will now shift their focus to the Knights who beat Central once already. The Grizzlies are clicking right now and are very hot. A major key to this game will be Central has to get Wilson the ball and push the pace of the game.
