Central in for a showdown against Clovis East

The Grizzlies are 3-1 in league play and looking to go 4-1 against Clovis East Friday night. Central is coming off a tuff lost last friday against Buchanan without Cam’ron and cash who was toss out of the game last week in the 2nd half the grizzlies struggled to score and couldn’t come away with enough stop in the 65-72 lost.

Tuesday the grizzlies took the floor against Clovis High without Cam’ron and Cash and the grizzlies domatainted this game. Senior guard Uriah Carter had a huge game dropping 32 points on 13 for 18 shooting and junior Jahmai Bartley had 30 points on 13 for 18 shooting. Senior Forward Avery Boyd and Junior guard Tahriq Sharp combined for over 20 points. Central will now turn their focus on to Clovis East.

The timberwolves are 11-9 and 2-2 in league play but that 11-9 can easily be better the timberwolves have taken Clovis West and Buchanan down to the wire in both losses. Central will be getting back Cash for this game.

Keys to this game will be who can pull away late this game can turn into a game of runs. For the timberwolves defense will be the key the grizzlies can score from anywhere and are good on the offense of side of the ball.

For central they are going have to create turnovers and control the tempo of the game. Can the grizzlies keep on rolling or will the timberwolves pull the upset.
