Central Keeps On Rolling

The Grizzlies are coming two big wins in league play against Clovis West and Clovis North. Central is now in first place and is 2-0 in league play and 16-3 overall.

The Grizzlies will host the 10-11 Buchanan Bears Friday night. Central is looking like the team to beat yet again after taking down #2 Clovis West 73-67 a big reason why the grizzlies were able to pull this one out was because of Senior guards Cashemin Williams who drop 18 points and Uriah Carter the transfer from bullard who also drop 18 points. But a big blow to this Grizzlies team as lead score Camron Wilson is out for a couple of game due to a ankle injury. The question now becomes can the grizzlies find some offense from someone else?

Although Central has lost Wilson they haven’t lost in TRAC play coming off a a 88-77 win over Clovis North Williams had a season high 30 points along with Carter 16 points and Bartley 20 points. Central will now shift its focus to the struggling Buchanan Bears. The Bears are led Senior center Spencer Heimerdinger and grizzlies are led by Senior guard Cashemin Williams.

Both teams are looking for a huge win but this game could turn ugly fast. Keys to the game Central needs to big on the boards and turn defense into offense.

Tune in Friday @Central East High School Can the grizzlies make it 3 straight or can the Buchanan Bears pull the upset @ 7:30 be there!!!
