Central Basketball Opens TRAC Play

The grizzlies are coming off a great season ,last year winning the valleys.  They will now be going for a 3 peat this year. Central is 13-3 in non conference play and will start league play friday night against Clovis West.

Central is led by 6,3 senior guard, Cashemin Williams and 6,6 forward Camron Wilson. Williams is second in team scoring with nearly 18 points per game and Wilson leads the team in scoring with 27 points per game which is top 15 in the state. But the depth of Central is something to watch players like Uriah Carter, Jahmai Bartley Devin Ghelardi’s and Avery Boyd are impact players on this team.

The grizzlies are coming off a 82-74 win tuesday night against the Ridgeview Wolfpack closing non conference with a win Wilson had a game high with 27 points and Williams had 20 points.

The grizzlies will be looking to bounce back after losing to Clovis West Earlier this year 81-66 at the Nike invitational. Keys to this game Central can not let this game turn into a blowout Clovis West is very deep and has good depth, Central bench will need to keep up and play big and the grizzlies have to control and the tempo of the game and run the fastbreak.

Both teams can score the ball very well this game can come down to a key stop and a big time shot. Players to watch will be Cashemin Williams, Camron Wilson and Jahmai Bartley for Clovis West  Cole Anderson, Josiah De La Cerda and Milton Burnett the transfer from Memorial.

Come out friday night @7:00 @Central East High School be there!!!
