It’s Rival week here in our city of Madera

This has been an intense week, including dress up days, a 5 AM rally, Stallions Fright Fest, and much much more. We started our week with PJ Day Monday, then moved on to Costume Day for Halloween on Tuesday, which then carried over into Dynamic Duo Day Wednesday. Thursday was Color Wars for our Stallion Storm and Friday, November 3rd is Blackout Day! Students, Teachers, and Parents attending our Football game vs. MHS, wear as much Black as possible to help support our Blackout spirit!

Our Football team faced Edison High School Friday, October 27th and came out with a loss of 0-54. Our Stallions hope to play extremely hard and come back stronger in this week’s game vs. MHS at our Memorial Stadium Friday, November 3rd at 7:30 PM. Prior to this week’s game, at 4:30 PM, we will be having a friendly tailgate for students to enjoy bounce events, hang out with friends, and show school spirit near the snack bar within our stadium. Come out and support our Stallion Football players!

Friday, October 27th, our MSHS Cross Country team hosted the Rich Parris Twilight Invitational here at Madera South. Our Boys Frosh/Soph finished in 2nd place, our Girls JV team placed first, and our Boys JV team came out with a 2nd place title as well. Our Girls and Boys Varsity ran a terrific race and ended in first place. Our runners will be competing in the CMAC Championships at Woodward Park Thursday, November 16th. Good Luck to our amazing Runners!!!!


Thursday, October 26th our Water Polo Boys and Girls faced MHS and fought hard until the very end. Our Girl Water Polo players ended with a score of 1-18. Our boys also had a hard fight finishing with a score of…. Our Polo teams had an amazing season and competed tremendously hard with any team they faced. Congratulations to our Water Polo teams for having such a magnificent season!


Our Volleyball girls faced MHS Thursday, October 26th and gave a tough battle but came out with a loss of 1-3. The girls hope to come back for their first round of playoffs Thursday, November 2nd at 6:30 PM vs. Yosemite High School stronger than ever and play as a unified team. MSHS Volleyball has had an amazing season, their dynamic and teamwork has been strong all year long.Good Luck to our girls in the first round of playoffs!!
