Aztecs & Horned Toads clash in crucial WSL Game of the Week

Mendota is on a mission to fight for the WSL crown after their 47-0 win over Avenal last week, They look to carry the momentum into this week’s game and their final regular season road trip as they head off to Coalinga in a crucial match-up to set up what could potientally be the WSL Championship Game next week…Aztecs head up the I-5 for a duel in Coalinga Friday Night.
Coalinga got off to a hot start in WSL play and it showed after their 47-0 win last week over Tranquillity and look to continue their hot streak as thet host the Mendota Aztecs as both teams are trying to keep pace with Firebaugh for the WSL title. A win and next week’s game against Firebaugh will be for the WSL Championship, A loss and a win next week against Firebaugh would lead to a 3-way tie between Mendota, Firebaugh, & Coalinga. Coalinga hosts the Aztecs of Mendota out at Horned Toads Stadium Friday Night.
Avenal looks to bounce back after their tough loss against Mendota 47-0 last week which takes them out of WSL Title contention and will now have to focus their attention to the Current Co-WSL Leaders, The Firebaugh Eagles who will travel to Kings County to face off against The Buccaneers of Avenal and use it as a warm-up to their game next week against Coalinga.
Dos Palos are trying to recover after their nail-biting loss last week to Firebaugh 7-3 which officially puts them out of the WSL Title hunt and they will now focus on finishing the season on a high note hopefully with wins against their last opponents. First up the Broncos will travel off to face on the Tigers of Tranquillity as they look to end their current 7-game losing streak. Dos Palos will ride up on the road to Tranquillity Friday Night.
Tranquillity are looking to shake off the rust after being shut out last week 47-0 to Coalinga as they try to finish the season on a high note as they are out of WSL Title contention for another year. They will turn their attention to the Broncos of Dos Palos who will be coming into town as they look to end their 7-game losing streak. Tigers square off against the Broncos out in Tranquillity Friday Night.
Firebaugh are coming off a close win against Dos Palos last week 7-3 pushing their win streak to 4 games and they look to push it again as they will head off to Avenal this friday night looking to use this game as a warm up before their potental WSL Title Game against Coalinga next friday on their Senior Night.
