The Grizzlies have been nothing but great so far

It is homecoming week and the Grizzlies are fired up. After coming off of a 30-3 win against Liberty High, the Grizzlies look to go 4-0 against Ridgeview High.
The Grizzlies have been nothing but great so far, and they showed that last week against Liberty. The offense could not be stopped as Central ran for 226 yards on the ground and threw for over 200 yards. But this was simply just another game for the phenomenal Junior QB Trent Tompkins, as he threw for 226 yards and 3TD. Not only did he do his job throwing the ball, he also did his job running the ball as he ran for 43 yards on 8 carries.
Trent Tompkins is seen as one of the top players in the Valley in many people’s eyes and maybe coach Tedford should offer the 3 star QB. But that’s not the only offer coach Tedford should give; the Senior linebackers Jacob Hollins and Tre Walker, both linebackers, are off to a good start and had a great game last week too as Jacob Hollins had 9 total tackles and 2 sacks.
Tre Walker had 8 total tackles. These two have been the heart and soul of the Grizzlies defense and have certainly done a great job leading the defense allowing only 9 points all season. The Central defense is making noise and teams should be on the lookout.

The Grizzlies will have a battle at the line of scrimmage against Ridgeview, but after Dominating Liberty at the line of scrimmage last week, Ridgeview is having problems running the ball against this defense.
The Grizzlies would love to get a W on Homecoming night in front of a packed crowd as they look to start the season 4-0. Kickoff is at 7 PM here at home as Central takes on Ridgeview.
