Pag Meter Playoff Notes-

The CIF and Pag Meter almost agreed with the division 2 bracket. The Pag Meter had Redwood with the No 2 seed because the tougher schedule and Sanger at the No 3 seed. Monache Marauders are the favorites to win it all

DIVISION 2 PAG METER Final RANKINGS

No 1 Monache Marauders (29-2) (9-1 Co EYL Champions)
  • Beat Sanger 6-1. WP Chloe Rivas. 5 K’s. Marauders finish the year with an 11 game winning streak. Jessenia Castillo went 3 for 4 with a triple, double and two RBI’s. Evette Mendoza, 2 for 4 with a triple.
No 2 Sanger Apaches (21-11-1) (6-4 CMAC)
  • Beat Edison 11-1. Vanessa Hernandez 3-4, 3 run homer, 4 RBI’s. Mireya Sanchez 2-3, 2 doubles. Sandra Vallejo, 4-4, double, 2 run homer. Jeilene Zavala, 2-3, double. 
No 3 Edison Tigers (19-10) (7-3 CMAC)
  • Catcher Kristen Arias who has verbally committed to play at San Jose St
No 4 Madera Coyotes (18-12) (6-4 CMAC)
  • Legend Coach Judy Shaubach notches win NO 600!!!
No 5 Redwood Rangers (18-11) (9-3 WYL)
  • The Rangers return the entire team including both sophomore pitchers Emily Ibarra and Abigail Hillan.
No 6 Tulare Western Mustangs (18-10) (6-4 EYL)
  • The Mustangs bring back almost everybody including senior pitcher Alexis Rodriguez.
 No 7 Kingsburg Vikings (17-12-1) (7-3 CSL)
  • Shayla Daniels,Sarah Gonzalez and Destiny Estrada lead the Vikings
No 8 El Diamante Miners (12-14-1) (5-5 EYL)
  • The Miners return a lot and leading the way is senior pitcher Jackie Luna
No 9 Ridgeview Wolf Pack (16-11) (9-6 SYL)
  • The Wolf Pack loses some and will have plenty of good players coming back. Sophomore Trinity Ybarra leads the pitching.
No 10 Golden West Trailblazers (13-15) (3-8 WYL) 
  • GW always has  a good team and will be much better this year with both pitchers coming back with senior Bella Felix and sophomore Julianna Flores. The GW softball program might be the best sports team at the school
 No 11 Lemoore Tigers (14-15) (4-8 EYL) 
  • Ashtyn Lucas, Sierra Phelps, and Kendra Hawken, lead the Tigers
No 12 East Blades (14-17-1) (7-8 SYL)
  • Juniors Alyssa Gonzales and Sophia Beltran lead the Blades.
 No 13 Garces Rams (9-20) (3-12 SWYL) 
  • The Rams have to play in the tough SWYL. Senior Renee Ramirez returns to the hill.
 No 14 North Stars (17-13) (7-5 SEYL)
  • The Stars can swing the bats with senior Camille Lucas and junior Hannah Flud.

  • Aaliyah Cuevas turned a triple into a walkoff game winning homer because she never stopped running!
