Thursday Night Football

CMAC

  • Memorial (4-3) (1-1) vs Edison (2-5) (2-0)
    • Pag Meter Line  Edison -13
    • The Panthers come in with the running game that is on fire but the passing game has struggled. The Tigers have played a very tough schedule and maybe the offense is finally finding their stride. The Tigers are also getting healthy for the 1st time all year.
    • Both teams love to pound the ball. The Panthers have one of their best offensive lines in years and running behind the O-line is Dashawn Holliman who has scored 10 TD’s and Demarcus Wilson who had his best game of the year rushing for 256 yards and scored 5 TD’s in the win over Madera South.
    • For the Tigers they will feature Jaylan King who rushed for 223 yards in the win over Madera.
    • The X factor can the Panthers defense slow down the Tigers? SJM has never beaten the Tigers so this could be the year the Panthers pull it off?
    • Pag Meter Prediction Edison 35 Memorial 21
    • Final Edison 35 Memorial 25
    • Teyjohn Harrington caught 3 TD passes and Steve Stephens picked off 2 passes.

EAST YOSEMITE

  • Tulare Western (5-2) (2-0) vs Porterville (1-6) (0-2)
    • Pag Meter Line Tulare Western -31
    • The X factor is the Mustangs now get it and is starting to focus on the big prize and that’s winning the annual Bell game in week 11 and win the division 3 section championship. To do that TW has to start playing consistent as of now.
    • Pag Meter Prediction Tulare Western 50 Porterville 17
    • Final Tulare Western 57 Porterville 25
    • QB Andre Aguilar rushed for 140 yards on 13 carries, scored 3 touchdowns, threw for 204 yards, 12-of-15 passing with 3 touchdowns passes.

TRAC

  • Clovis (6-1) (1-1) at Central (6-1) (2-0)
    • Broadcasted on 790 ESPN the Deuce
    • Pag Meter Line Central -7
    • This is the game of the year! The winner is in the driver’s seat for the No 1 seed and the TRAC Championship.
    • Two hot QB’s square off with the Cougars Trey Lake  who now has 16 TD passes and 1,330 passing yards vs Grizzlies Trent Tompkins who is 98 of 157 (.624) for 1,571 yards and 19 TDs.
    • The X factor is the defensive side of the ball and the Grizzlies have the edge. The Grizzlies will go for the knockout early so if the Cougars can survive it and keep it close heading to the 4th quarter then they have the edge because the Cougars have played in closer games than the Grizzlies. That’s a huge deal especially when you are coasting at halftime and not used to playing in close games. How does a team handle the pressure?
    • Pag Meter Prediction Central 35 Clovis 28
    • Final Central 21 Clovis 17

  • Clovis North (4-3) (1-1) vs Clovis East (0-7) (0-2)
    • Pag Meter Line Clovis North-42
    • The Broncos did not play well on both sides of the ball last week. It looks like right now the Broncos offensive strategy is have QB Brent Bailey play like Tim Tebow. I like it and if that’s the case then give mini Tebow some more options like a play action pass, a roll out pass that will set up the running game. Last week in the lost to Clovis West, the Broncos were very predictable and Clovis West just needed a vanilla defensive game plan to win.
    • The X factor this is a good week that the Broncos work on a game plan to go forward and work on the passing/play action part of the game….because if the Broncos want to do some damage in the playoffs….it’s ding ding time now!!
    • Pag Meter Prediction Clovis North 49 Clovis East 7
    • Final Clovis North 52 Clovis East 7

  •  Clovis West (5-2) (2-0) at Buchanan (4-3) (0-2)
    • Pag Meter Line Clovis West -10
    • This is a huge game for the Bears. We all know that the Golden Eagles are real good with beating Edison and Clovis North. Clovis West is playing their best football on both sides of the ball. Everybody is talking about Central and Clovis but you better watch out for C-dub!! For the Bears they did beat Bullard but got crushed by Liberty and Central so how good are the Bears. We will find out! Great match up of the Bears power running game vs the red hot Golden Eagles run stop defense.
